BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business

This course comprises 12 unit of competency that are studied in the following order:

• BSBPMG430 Undertake project work
• BSBTEC402 Design and produce complex spreadsheets
• BSBTEC401 Design and produce complex text documents
• BSBTEC403 Apply digital solutions to work processes

You will have up to 12 months to complete the Certificate IV in Business (Administration). There is no minimum time frame to complete the course, therefore students may complete the course much faster than the allowed timeframe. Study at a pace that suits your personal situation.

The course may take up to 1200 hours of study and assessment time, particularly for those who are new to business concepts.

To complete all units in this course, you will need:

• A reliable internet connection as all data files and learning activities are available via our student platform.
• Microsoft Word and Excel.

Overview

Your learning journey is about becoming "competent" in the subject matter. Our in-house course writers and assessment team all have accounting and business experience or are currently working in the industry. With this in mind we aim to make the tasks relevant to what you will experience in the real world. The purpose is not to just pass or fail, rather to become competent using these skills which you can then apply in the real world.

Pre-course

Before starting this course, you will be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) questionnaire. This quick questionnaire is used to determine your LLN skill level so that we can best support you in your studies.

Introductory Requirements & Units

There are two Introductory Requirements that need to be completed prior to commencing the units; an Oral Communication Skills Assessment and a Work Health and Safety Assessment.

The Unit assessments are completed using a variety of methods and are submitted online via our student portal. They are conducted open book from either your home or office, and comprise of multiple choice quizzes, short answer, and calculations.

If you require supervision of assessments by Applied Education, additional costs may apply. Refer to Student Handbook.

Payment Plans

We understand that not everyone has the financial resources upfront to invest in training, so we offer a 6-month payment plan to get you moving faster towards your future.

• An administration fee of $100 is added for this option.
• All you need is a valid credit or debit card.
• Pay a $250 deposit at the commencement of course.
• Remainder to be paid over six equal monthly instalments.

Refund Policy

Refer to the Student Handbook for our refund policy. This course includes a non-refundable administration fee of $250.
