Education course requirements for TPB registration

Do you or your staff need to undertake a board-approved course to attain or renew your BAS agent registration or tax agent registration?

To become a registered individual tax agent, BAS agent or bookkeeper (or to renew your registration as an individual tax agent or BAS agent) you must satisfy certain qualifications and experience requirements, which are set out in the Tax Agent Services Regulations 2009 (TASR).

Applied Education is one of a few training organisations in Australia that can provide the education requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board for both BAS agent registration and tax agent registration.

We are recognised by the Tax Practitioners Board as an approved course provider, offering courses that meet their educational requirements.

Complete just the units you need for registration

Only pay for the units you actually need. Often the TPB will advise you to complete a particular number of units in certain topics to satisfy their requirements.

Don't have an approved Primary Qualification?

In addition to a board approved course in GST/BAS principles, Australian Taxation Law or Commercial Law, the Tax Practitioners Board will usually require you to have an approved 'primary qualification'.

Our Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses are all nationally recognised and offer the latest in accounting and bookkeeping training.

Please contact the Tax Practitioners Board directly to confirm their requirements before proceeding.
