If you live or work in South Australia you may be eligible for funded training to support your career development. Skills SA is a South Australian government initiative that provides financial assistance to help people build or start their careers through through quality vocational education and training (VET).
Eligibility Criteria for South Australia Government Subsidised Training
A traineeship is a practical hands-on training program combining paid work with structured training aimed at achieving a nationally recognised qualification. If you would like to do a traineeship and study Accounting and Bookkeeping, there are Participant Eligibility Criteria in order to receive funding. You must:
- reside or work in South Australia;
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or an Australian Permanent Resident or an eligible visa holder (see eligible visas at https://www.skills.sa.gov.au/courses-careers/eligibility-explained);
- be aged 16 years of older; and
- not enrolled in school.
School-enrolled students are subject to separate eligibility criteria.
