There is one online lecture per unit of competency. The lecture series is an optional add-on purchase, you cannot choose to enrol in individual lectures.

11 March: FNSACC426 Set up and operate a computerised accounting system (using MYOB)

18 March: FNSACC323 Perform financial calculations

25 March: FNSACC321 Process financial transactions and extract interim reports (using MYOB)

8 April: FNSACC405 Maintain inventory records (using MYOB)

15 April: FNSACC418 Work effectively in the accounting and bookkeeping industry

22 April and 29 April: FNSTPB411 Complete business activity and instalment activity statements (using Xero)*

6 May and 13 May: FNSTPB412 Establish and maintain payroll systems (using Xero)*

20 May: FNSACC421 Prepare financial reports

27 May: FNSACC414 Prepare financial statements for non-reporting entities

10 June: FNSACC412 Prepare operational budgets

17 June: FNSACC322 Administer subsidiary accounts and ledgers (using Xero)

The instructions and login to the Teams Meeting for each lecture are accessed via the Student Platform.

Lectures are not held on public holidays

The real-time Lecture Series, using Microsoft Teams, provide a high-level overview of bookkeeping and payroll concepts  and are delivered by our expert trainers. Each lecture is 3 hours long followed by a 1-hour Q&A session.

Each lecture is presented in real-time, if you miss a lecture, you can watch the recording later on the Student Platform.

To access the lectures, you must set up and use the Microsoft 365 Student account supplied by Applied Education. Once enrolled an email will be sent to you with the subject line - "Office 365 included with your enrolment".

Please be advised that this course will be recorded. The recordings may be made available to all students enrolled in the course for educational purposes. By participating in this course, you consent to being recorded and agree to the use of these recordings for the stated educational purposes.

The lecture series is an optional add-on purchase, you cannot choose to enrol in individual lectures.

Lecture Fees

Payment plans

We understand not everyone has the financial resources upfront to invest in training, so we offer a 9-week payment plan to get you moving faster towards your future.

  • An administration fee of $40 is added for this option
  • All you need is a valid credit or debit card
  • Pay first weekly instalment at commencement of course
  • Remainder to be paid over eight equal weekly instalments. Total of nine payments.

Refund Policy

Refer to the Student Handbook for our refund policy. This lecture series includes a non-refundable administration fee of $75.

Cancellation of Lectures by Applied Education

In the event of insufficient numbers, Applied Education reserves the right to cancel, at its sole discretion, any particular course, webinar or lecture series. If cancellation occurs, participants will be contacted by us to arrange either a full refund of the cost of the course, webinar or lecture series or a transfer to an alternative course date, if available. Applied Education assumes no responsibility for non-refundable transport, accommodation, deposits, or any other expenses incurred due to course cancellations.

Please note that enrolling in the lecture series does not effect your original course duration.

No additional course material is required for the Lecture Series.
